How do you start A Catalyzing Caper in Palia?
After completing Plumehound Pilgrimage, go to the Temple of the Flames in Bahari Bay, beside the Flooded Fortress. Enter the ruins and speak with Hassian. Sifuu is also there; speaking with both characters can provide additional dialogue.

How do you solve the first door and find the hidden entrance?
Shoot the three cauldrons
- Read the engraving at the end of the corridor.
- Look for the signs above the corridor that mark the three cauldrons.
- Shoot each cauldron with an arrow, beginning with the one closest to Hassian and Sifuu. The walkthrough reports that any kind of arrow works.
Light the hidden-door brazier
- In the Mysterious Chamber, read the plaque on the Phoenix statue and speak with Sifuu to receive her torch.
- Light Sifuu’s Torch at a flame cauldron.
- Use the lit torch on the brazier. The hidden door opens behind the sliding mural.
How do you get through the three maze rooms?
- First room: Climb to the platform with the mural, then use Sifuu’s Torch to light the brazier.
- Second room: Repeat the same process: reach the mural platform and light its brazier.
- Third room: Follow the path and glide where necessary. Light the torch at the flame cauldron, climb to the platform, and light the brazier in the middle of the room.
- Return to Hassian and Sifuu after completing the maze.
What is the correct brazier order in the final chamber?
Meet Hassian near the locked doors. If you need to hear the clue again, ask Sifuu to repeat her Kitsuu story. Match the events in the story to the murals and the signs beneath them, then shoot the corresponding braziers in the story’s chronological order.
How do you cross the lava and solve the mural puzzle?
Jump and use your glider to cross the lava and reach Tau. At the sliding-tile mural, use the empty space as your reference point. The instructions below describe each tile’s starting position relative to that gap; move that tile into the gap in the indicated direction.

What happens after you finish the quest?
After the mural puzzle, a cinematic shows the second Night Sky Temple pedestal lighting. Jina then contacts you by mail, unlocking the second bundle. The next quest in the listed series is Vault of the Flames.
The listed rewards are 2 Eggs or 3 Chopped Chapaa Meat, 55 Renown, and increased friendship with Hassian and Tau.
