To unlock crafting machines in Starsand Island, start Zerine’s Crafting profession, complete its certification tasks, obtain machine blueprints, and upgrade tiered stations through their own interfaces. The available guides do not verify exact unlock ranks and recipes for every machine, so treat the steps below as a progression route—not a complete machine-by-machine checklist.
Start the Crafting profession with Zerine
Find Zerine and choose the dialogue option to become an Apprentice Crafter, then take the first task. The profession guide says Apprentice certification unlocks Worktable I and basic tools, while also opening access to other professions. A Steam community walkthrough describes starting the path through Zerine.
Check Zerine’s kiosk for early blueprints
After beginning the Apprentice path, check the kiosk at Zerine’s General Store for the free Equipment Blueprint Pack. The community walkthrough lists Cutter I, Charcoal Kiln, Furnace I, and Separator among its contents. These are guide-reported details; check the current in-game kiosk because shop stock and blueprint availability can change.
Advance your Crafting certification
The profession guide describes five Crafting tiers: Apprentice, Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Expert. Progress involves crafting increasingly complex items and upgrading stations to satisfy new requirements. Higher certification levels are associated with more advanced Worktables, station recipes, endgame crafting recipes, and other final unlocks.

Use the certification tasks and the requirements shown in your current game as your guide. The available sources do not establish a reliable rank and recipe for every machine. They also disagree about Worktable III: the profession guide and station overview associate it with Intermediate, while another 2026 guide reports Senior. Check the current quest and shop rather than treating one rank as definitive.
Upgrade a tiered machine at the machine itself
When a station has higher tiers, interact with it and choose its upgrade option, then provide the required materials. The station overview says the machine upgrades in place; you do not necessarily need to build a separate replacement. Higher tiers add recipes and improve processing speed, according to the station guide.

Plan for energy-related crafting later on
A guide reviewed August 23, 2026 reports that the Energy Converter blueprint is sold at Zerine’s General Store for Intermediate Crafter rank and is built at Worktable II. It says the converter produces Solid-State Batteries, Mini Reactors, and Perpetual Reactors, and that Mini Reactors are used in later Worktable progression. These rank and recipe details are version-sensitive; verify the blueprint and requirements in your current game.

The station index reports 35 entries, while other search results name additional farm and ranch machines, including fertilizer and feeding machines, as well as food-processing stations. The reviewed sources do not settle whether “all crafting machines” means only Crafting-profession stations or every processing and farm machine in the game. They also do not support an exact unlock table for all 35 entries.

When a blueprint or machine is missing
- You have not started Crafting: Speak with Zerine, begin the Apprentice Crafter path, and take its first task.
- You are looking for early processors: Check Zerine’s kiosk for the Equipment Blueprint Pack after starting the path.
- A later blueprint is unavailable: Check your certification, the relevant station tier, and the current shop or quest requirements. Exact rank, price, recipe, and visibility can vary by game version.
- You expect a new station tier to appear as a separate build: Interact with the existing tiered station and check for its upgrade option.
