1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe PPSh-41 first arrived in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 during Season 02 as a Battle Pass Page 6 HVT reward. If you missed it, check the in-game Armory: activate the PPSh-41 challenge if it is available, then earn XP until the displayed requirement is met. The precise XP target is not confirmed by the official sources cited here, so use the challenge counter in your game rather than relying on a number reported elsewhere.
Unlocking the PPSh-41 now
For players who missed the original Season 02 reward, the Armory is the general post-season route described by Call of Duty. Its instructions are to activate an item and earn XP toward unlocking it. The PPSh-41 challenge must appear in your Armory for this route to work on your account.

- Reach Player Level 24. Call of Duty’s Armory announcement says access opens at that level.
- Open Barracks > Challenges > Armory.
- Find and activate the PPSh-41 challenge if it is listed. Activating it starts progress toward the item.
- Play supported modes and earn XP. Track progress using the challenge counter shown in-game; that live counter is the best guide to the requirement currently applied to your account.
- Claim or equip the weapon when the challenge is complete, following any prompts shown in the Armory.
Call of Duty’s Season 01 announcement describes the Armory location, level access, and general XP process. It does not state a PPSh-41-specific XP total.
How much XP does the PPSh-41 require?
The Call of Duty Wiki reports a 250,000 XP Armory challenge for the PPSh-41, but that figure is from a secondary source, not the official announcements cited here. The target can be updated or displayed differently, so confirm the requirement on the active challenge in your game instead of treating 250,000 XP as guaranteed.

How the original Season 02 unlock worked
When the weapon was introduced, Call of Duty listed the base PPSh-41 as the HVT reward on Battle Pass Page 6. The same Season 02 announcement listed a PPSh-41 blueprint on Page 14. These were rewards during that season; the announcement identifies their Battle Pass pages but does not establish that purchasing a premium pass was required for the base weapon. See the official Season 02 content announcement.
| Route | When it applied | What to do | What is established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 02 Battle Pass | During Season 02 | Progress to Page 6 HVT for the base weapon; the Page 14 reward was a blueprint. | Official Call of Duty announcement lists these reward placements. |
| Armory | After missing seasonal content, if the challenge is available in your game | Activate the PPSh-41 challenge and earn XP toward it. | The official source describes the general Armory process; the PPSh-specific 250,000 XP target is secondary-source reporting. |
Using the PPSh-41 in Warzone
Compatible Black Ops 6 unlocks carry over to Warzone when the games are linked through the same Activision account. Activision says compatible player-level unlocks are available in Warzone through cross-progression. Consult Activision Support’s Black Ops 6 progression guide for the account and progression details.

Do not confuse the weapon with its Helical Magazine
The PPSh-41 Helical Magazine is an attachment for the weapon, not the base PPSh-41 unlock. Call of Duty listed the magazine as a Season 05 Reloaded event reward; earning that attachment does not by itself unlock the weapon. The distinction is noted in the Season 05 Reloaded announcement.
