To add Roblox account value with a Roblox Gift Card, sign in to the correct account in a web browser, visit Roblox.com/redeem, enter the code, and select Redeem. A Roblox Gift Card can add Roblox Credit or, for some cards, Robux. Those are different from paying directly for Robux or receiving Robux as a gift.
Redeem a Roblox Gift Card in a browser
- Open Roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.
- Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the value. Check the username before continuing; redeemed value goes to the account you are signed into.
- Enter the gift-card code and select Redeem.
- Check for the confirmation message that the credit or item was added.
Roblox says you can redeem multiple cards, one at a time. Its guide also says codes can be redeemed worldwide and that value is automatically converted to the account’s local currency when redeemed. Card availability and terms may still vary by country.
Can you redeem a card in the Roblox app or on a console?
Standard gift-card redemption is not available in the regular Roblox mobile app or on consoles. Roblox lists an exception for Samsung Galaxy app users: open More, choose Redeem, and enter the code. Otherwise, use a web browser to redeem the card.
Roblox Credit, Robux, and payment methods are not the same
Roblox Credit is value added by redeeming eligible Roblox Gift Cards. Roblox says Credits can be used for Robux and other Roblox services it designates. Some specially marked Roblox cards redeem directly for Robux rather than Credit. Robux is the platform’s virtual currency; buying it directly is a purchase, not necessarily a general account-balance top-up.

Amazon Gift Cards and Party Packs Gift Cards are different: Roblox says they can be redeemed for Robux only, not Roblox Credit. Don’t buy one expecting it to add general Roblox Credit.
Payment options also depend on where you make a purchase. Roblox lists major credit and debit cards, prepaid credit cards, PayPal, and Roblox Gift Cards for browser purchases. In mobile apps, payments may use Google Play, iTunes, Amazon, or Samsung; the Xbox One app uses in-app purchases. Other ways to get Robux
If you need Robux rather than Roblox Credit, you can buy Robux through a payment route available on your device or, if eligible, receive them through Roblox’s gifting feature. Roblox says selected users in the United States can use a computer or web browser to create a gift link; eligibility includes age and phone-verification conditions. Gifted Robux purchases are final sale and non-refundable. This feature gifts Robux—it does not top up Roblox Credit. Check Roblox’s current Robux gifting information for eligibility.

If a gift-card code does not work
Roblox suggests checking characters that can be mistaken for one another: 0/O, 1/I, 2/Z, 5/S, 6/G or Q, and 8/B. If the code still fails, contact Roblox Support. Roblox recommends having the account username, purchase date and amount, purchase location and country, card PIN and serial number, receipt, and an image of the error available.

Buying and redeeming safely
Roblox’s detailed gift-card terms cited here apply to the United States. They say U.S. Roblox-branded cards should come from Roblox or authorized retailers and distributors; cards from unauthorized sellers, including internet auction sites, are not valid and will not be honored. The U.S. terms also say cards are not refundable or reloadable, do not expire, and have no cash value except as required by law; Credits are nonrefundable and nontransferable and have no cash value except as required by law. Roblox’s gift-card guide separately says gift-card refunds are not provided. For locations outside the United States, check the terms that apply in your country rather than assuming these conditions are universal.
The U.S. terms state that anyone under 18 needs parent or guardian consent to redeem. They also describe a conditional promotion of up to 25% more Robux for certain cards and eligible Credit purchases; it is not a guaranteed bonus and may be changed or discontinued. Don’t assume a fixed exchange rate, current Robux price, bonus, or card denomination.
