Quality Recovery Crystals are an uncommon consumable that instantly restores health. The most direct documented ways to get them are Codex quest rewards and Taedal’s Tower; a Sundries Merchant and certain reward containers may also provide them. The exact amounts below come from a guide last updated in 2024, so check the live Codex, merchant stock, and reward screens before planning a farm.
What Quality Recovery Crystals do
Gameslantern classifies the Quality Recovery Crystal as an uncommon potion that instantly restores health. It is a separate item from the common Recovery Crystal and Health Potion. See the item entry.

Get crystals from Codex quests
Game8’s guide lists these quest rewards: check its quest guide, then confirm the reward in your current in-game Codex.
| Quest | Listed reward |
|---|---|
| Encounter with Henderson Harmon | 6 Quality Recovery Crystals |
| If She Cannot Be Stopped… | 20 Quality Recovery Crystals |
| Where Desires Sleep | 30 Quality Recovery Crystals |
There is a discrepancy between the sources: Game8 names “Where Desires Sleep,” while Gameslantern’s item entry lists “Into the Grayclaw Forest” among Codex sources. Because quest rewards can change and the item database may be stale, use the Codex reward display to identify the relevant quest and amount in your version.

Clear Taedal’s Tower
Game8 lists Quality Recovery Crystals among Taedal’s Tower rewards. Its floor 5 entry lists 10 crystals and a level requirement of 31. Treat those as guide-listed values rather than guaranteed current rewards; check the floor’s in-game reward information before attempting it.
Check the Sundries Merchant
Game8 identifies the Sundries Merchant as a possible purchase route, but does not state the price, stock limit, or location. Inspect the merchant’s current inventory rather than assuming the crystals are available or that supply is unlimited.
Do not confuse this with the official Update 3.7.0 note about a different item: it says that players who already own a Recovery Crystal recipe can no longer purchase the respective recipe from the Contract Coin Merchant. That note concerns the recipe and Contract Coin Merchant; it does not establish the current price or availability of the Quality Recovery Crystal at the Sundries Merchant. Read the official update notes.

Gameslantern’s item database lists the Pioneer’s Support Chest, Adventure Support Chest, Adventure Support Bundle, and several Conquest Participation Awards as sources. Listed examples include 1 crystal from a Pioneer’s Support Chest, 10 from an Adventure Support Chest, and 5 from some boss participation awards. These records may depend on game version or event; check the chest tooltip or reward screen before counting on a specific amount. The item entry lists its recorded sources.

Pass rewards are not necessarily current
A Gameslantern Welcome Pass page lists Quality Recovery Crystals at several levels on its default and premium tracks, but does not provide start or end dates. Consider this a possible pass-specific source, not proof that the same pass is currently active. Check the active pass and its reward track in game. View the Welcome Pass entry.
Which route should you try first?
- For a clearly listed reward: Check eligible Codex quests or Taedal’s Tower floor 5, then verify the displayed reward in game.
- If you already have reward containers: Check their descriptions before opening them; database listings do not guarantee that every container currently awards crystals.
- If you want to buy them: Inspect the Sundries Merchant directly, since the available evidence gives no price or purchase limit.
- If you are checking seasonal rewards: Look at the active pass or event screen rather than relying on an undated database listing.
The available sources do not establish a current cost-per-crystal or time-to-farm comparison, so those depend on your progress, merchant inventory, and active rewards.
