In North America, DELTARUNE costs $24.99 for the game. Chapters 3 and 4 were included in that paid release; Chapter 5 is a free update, not a separate purchase. The official FAQ says future chapters will also arrive as free updates.
Is there a separate price for Chapters 3, 4, and 5?
No. The $24.99 North American price is for DELTARUNE, not a per-chapter charge. Chapters 3 and 4 were part of the paid release, while Chapter 5 was added as a free update. Nintendo’s June 24, 2026 announcement describes Chapter 5 as a free update and lists the US Switch and Switch 2 versions at a regular price of $24.99: Nintendo’s announcement.
Will later DELTARUNE chapters cost extra?
No, according to the official DELTARUNE FAQ: future chapters will be made available as free updates once they are ready. The Steam listing likewise says more chapters are planned as free updates. The FAQ was updated June 24, 2026: official DELTARUNE FAQ; official Steam listing.
What is the price outside North America?
The FAQ says prices in other regions are roughly equivalent to the North American price, but it does not establish one exact amount for every currency or storefront. Check the listing for your country and platform before buying; do not treat a currency conversion of $24.99 as the local price.

What does the $24.99 cover?
It is the listed price of the game in North America, rather than a separate payment for each of Chapters 3, 4, and 5. As of the official materials checked October 8, 2026, Chapters 1–5 are available. Store prices can vary by region and storefront, so the local listing is the definitive price for your purchase.
