To use your Xbox Apex Legends progress on PC, link the Xbox account and the PC platform account you use to play to the same EA Account—the one that holds your Apex progress. Check the account links before unlinking or switching anything; progress does not transfer between EA Accounts.
How to link your Xbox Apex account to PC
- Find the EA Account that holds your progress. Apex Legends progress is permanently tied to that EA Account. If you are unsure which one it is, verify the account you used while playing on Xbox before changing any connections. EA Help explains how Apex cross-progression works.
- Check your Xbox connection. Sign in to the EA Account portal and open Connected Accounts. Confirm that the Xbox account you use for Apex appears there. EA’s account-linking guide explains where to check connected platform accounts.
- If Xbox is not connected, link it to the correct EA Account. EA says accounts created with the same email address may connect automatically when the game loads on console. Otherwise, open an EA game on Xbox and sign in using the primary EA Account. If prompted, enter the one-time code sent to that EA Account’s email address. Verify the account identity before accepting a prompt.
- Connect the PC platform account to that same EA Account. In Connected Accounts, check that the platform account you use to launch Apex on PC is connected to the EA Account holding your progress. Then sign in on PC with that platform account.
- Launch Apex and check your account. Confirm that the game is using the expected account and that your progress appears. If it does not, use the checks below before changing any links.
What to check if your Xbox progress is missing on PC
- EA Account: Is the PC session using the same EA Account that holds your Xbox Apex progress?
- Xbox connection: Is the Xbox platform account connected to that EA Account?
- PC connection and sign-in: Is the PC platform account connected to the same EA Account, and are you signed in with that platform account?
EA’s troubleshooting guidance says Apex progress follows the EA Account that holds it. Recheck these account identities in EA’s cross-progression guidance before trying to unlink or relink accounts.
Important limits before unlinking or switching accounts
Unlinking an account can make Apex progress, rewards, or purchases inaccessible, and can cause Battle Pass leveling or item-unlock problems. Relinking to the original EA Account may restore access; linking to a different EA Account does not move the old progress. Confirm which EA Account holds your progress before unlinking. See EA’s guidance on unlinking platform accounts.
EA’s general account-linking policy says linked accounts can be switched up to three times in a rolling year. If you have reached that limit or cannot unlink an account, check the current EA Account portal and contact EA Help rather than trying to use another EA Account as a workaround.

Cross-progression is not a way to combine progress from multiple EA Accounts. EA says it cannot merge Apex progress from two EA Accounts; an account linked after the one-time cross-progression merge is not retroactively included in that merge. Do not unlink it and connect it to another EA Account expecting your progress to follow. First try to recover access to the EA Account that already holds the progress. If you cannot identify or recover it, use EA Help for account assistance; progress cannot be transferred to a replacement EA Account.
