When it was available, the Suitcase of Patience was in a shack northeast of Foxy Floodgate. Opening it required holding the interaction for 10 uninterrupted minutes; moving away or interrupting it reset progress. A Fortnite reference page records the item as vaulted in update v38.00, so its past location and method may not work in a current live match.
Where was the Suitcase of Patience?
In Chapter 6 Season 3, the suitcase was inside a small shack northeast of Foxy Floodgate. A more specific historical landmark description places the shack directly south of Crackshot’s Cabin. These are directions for that season’s map, not confirmation of a location on the current map. Destructoid’s June 9, 2025 guide and the Fortnite Wiki reference describe the location.
How did you open it?
- Find the suitcase in the shack northeast of Foxy Floodgate, using Crackshot’s Cabin as a historical landmark if it is present on that season’s map.
- Start interacting with the suitcase and keep the interaction active for 10 minutes.
- Stay close and do not interrupt the interaction. Moving away or otherwise breaking it reset the opening progress, according to the June 9, 2025 Escapist guide and the Fortnite Wiki reference.
The unusually long opening time is also reported by Gameranx’s June 15, 2025 guide. Plan to remain undisturbed for the full interaction rather than assuming partial progress will be saved.
What did the suitcase contain?
Historical descriptions list materials, bars or gold, healing items, weapons ranging from Epic to Legendary rarity, and Hero Items. The possible loot was variable; those reports do not guarantee a particular item or fixed reward. The Fortnite Wiki reference and The Escapist describe the rewards.

Is the Suitcase of Patience still in Fortnite?
The Fortnite Wiki reference records the suitcase as vaulted in update v38.00. That is community-maintained status, and no current official Epic confirmation establishes whether it is available in live matches now. Treat the location and opening steps above as historical Chapter 6 Season 3 guidance, not a promise that the suitcase can currently be found.
