Its announced sessions ran in August 2025, so there is no current signup or download route for that beta. EA later announced that Battlefield 6 launched on October 10, 2025. The steps below explain how access worked at the time; they are not instructions for joining a live test.
When did the Battlefield 6 beta run?
EA scheduled the beta in three time-limited sessions. Preloading began August 4, 2025, at 15:00 UTC. The access windows were:
| Session | Dates and times (UTC) | Who could access it |
|---|---|---|
| Early access | From August 7, 2025, at 08:00 | Eligible Battlefield Labs participants and players who unlocked access through select Twitch creator streams |
| Weekend 1 | August 9, 2025, at 08:00, through August 11, 2025, at 08:00 | Open to anyone; no code required |
| Weekend 2 | August 14, 2025, at 08:00, through August 18, 2025, at 08:00 | Open to anyone; no code required |
These dates and access rules come from EA’s July 31, 2025, Open Beta announcement. The public-weekend rule applied only to those scheduled sessions; it does not provide access now.
How did early access work?
Battlefield Labs registration
Players who had registered for Battlefield Labs before July 31, 2025, did not need a code. They were instructed to sign in using the EA Account associated with their Labs registration.

Twitch creator streams
Other players could unlock early access by watching select creators during the Battlefield 6 reveal streams on Twitch on July 31, 2025. This was a date-specific promotion, not a continuing way to get access.
Did the public beta require a code?
No code was required for either public beta weekend. EA described Weekend 1 as “No code needed, available to anyone”; that applied to the August 9–11 session, not to early access or a future beta.

Which platforms and setup were supported?
EA listed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app. Players were told to link their EA Account to their platform account. On PC, Secure Boot was required to play the beta.
For the released game, EA’s account guide advises players who took part in the beta to use the same EA Account so progress remains associated with the intended account. That is account guidance for Battlefield 6, not a way to reopen beta access. EA’s Battlefield 6 FAQ lists the same console and PC storefront options and notes that Steam players need an EA Account, while Epic purchasers need the EA app and an EA Account.

Can you join another Battlefield 6 beta now?
The official materials cited here do not provide current open beta dates or a current beta signup route. They establish that the August 2025 sessions ended, but do not establish whether EA will announce a separate future playtest. Check EA’s official Battlefield 6 announcements for any new test; do not treat old codes, downloads, or the previous Twitch promotion as current access.
