1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIf you already have a Rainbow Six Siege key for Ubisoft Connect PC, open Ubisoft Connect, choose Key/Code Activation, enter the code and select Activate. The game is attached to the Ubisoft account you use, so check that you are signed into the right account before redeeming. Ubisoft’s instructions explain how to activate a code you already have; they do not provide a way to generate a missing one.
How to activate a Rainbow Six Siege code on Ubisoft Connect PC
- Open Ubisoft Connect PC and sign in to the Ubisoft account where you want the game.
- Select your profile in the top-left corner, or open the Ubisoft Connect overlay, then choose Key/Code Activation.
- Enter the key or code in the Activate Product field and select Activate.
- If prompted, choose the product and platform that match your code.
- After activation, find Rainbow Six Siege in your Ubisoft Connect library and download and install it.
Ubisoft links the game or content to the account used to activate it. Repeated failed attempts may temporarily block further attempts, so check the code carefully rather than guessing or repeatedly submitting it. See Ubisoft’s current key-activation instructions for the PC client flow and error guidance.

If you do not have a code or the game is missing
There is no code-generation step in Ubisoft’s activation guidance. If you bought the game but have no key, first check the store or retailer account and the Ubisoft account associated with the purchase. If you redeemed the game before, make sure Ubisoft Connect is signed into the same Ubisoft account; games and content remain linked to the account where they were activated or redeemed.
- In Ubisoft Connect PC, confirm the signed-in account is the one used for the purchase or redemption.
- Clear the Ubisoft Connect PC cache and restart the client to address a library display issue.
- If the game still does not appear, contact Ubisoft Support about a missing game and attach a screenshot of your proof of purchase.
If Ubisoft Connect rejects the code
Use the exact error message to choose the next step. Ubisoft’s activation help links to separate guidance for codes that are already in use, invalid or region-invalid; the resolution depends on the error and where the code came from. Avoid treating one fix as universal.

Banned code
Ubisoft says a code obtained through an irregular sale, such as from an unapproved retailer, may be banned. Contact the retailer for a replacement or refund. Ubisoft recommends buying from the Ubisoft Store or an approved retailer, rather than an unverified key seller.
Code already in use, invalid or region-invalid
Check that you entered the code correctly and that it matches your platform and region. If the same error persists, follow the specific Ubisoft Help guidance linked from the activation page or contact Ubisoft Support with the code and purchase details.

Using a Steam purchase with Ubisoft Connect
If your copy is on Steam, launch a Ubisoft game from Steam. When the Ubisoft prompt appears, choose Continue, sign in to the Ubisoft account in the browser window, then select Link accounts. Ubisoft also provides account linking under Account Information > Linked accounts. See its Steam account-linking instructions.
If linking fails because the Steam account is already linked to another Ubisoft account, contact Ubisoft Support. Ubisoft warns that linking or unlinking external accounts can have lasting effects on games and subscriptions, so do not unlink an account as a troubleshooting shortcut. Its guidance on linking other accounts explains the limitations.
