To get Blast Powder in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, explore Dry Valley lava caves and defeat the Mine Skeletons carrying Dynamite. LEGO says these enemies can drop Blast Powder, but does not confirm a fixed amount or guaranteed drop per defeat.
Where to find Blast Powder
Look for Mine Skeletons in the lava caves of the Dry Valley biome. LEGO’s official Odyssey cave guide identifies defeating these Skeletons as a way to get Blast Powder, which is used for making explosives and Toys. The guide does not give a drop rate or quantity.
How to reach Dry Valley caves and collect it
- Travel to Dry Valley. Explore the biome for caves. LEGO describes their entrances as large, round gray rock mounds; approaching a cave marks it on your map.
- Prepare for the heat. Bring Cool-Headed Charms and Snowberries or Snowberry Shakes for protection in the lava caves.
- Find Mine Skeletons. Look for Skeletons carrying Dynamite. Defeat them, then collect any Blast Powder they drop.
- Watch for thrown Dynamite. Move clear when a bundle lands nearby rather than standing beside it to fight or collect items.
Blast Powder is not Blast Core
Blast Powder and Blast Core are separate resources. LEGO’s crafting guide describes Blast Core as a separate reward for defeating minifigure enemies in Dry Valley caves, and associates it with Metal Smelter crafting. Do not mistake a Blast Core drop for Blast Powder.
What to expect while farming
The official guide gives Mine Skeletons in Dry Valley lava caves as an acquisition method, but does not establish a guaranteed drop, fixed yield, spawn frequency, or exhaustive list of sources. Treat any precise farming rate or promise of a certain amount per kill as unverified. Game mechanics may change with updates; Epic’s Storm Chasers update notes describe changes to progression, enemy balance, and component-based crafting, but do not document a Blast Powder drop change.
