Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYou can’t legitimately log into someone else’s Roblox account. If you’re locked out of your own, use Roblox’s official recovery process or contact Roblox Support so it can verify ownership.
Reset a Roblox password using an email or phone number on the account
- On the Roblox login page, select Forgot Password or Username?
- If an email address is linked to the account, enter it and submit the request. Follow the reset instructions sent to that address; check spam or junk if they do not arrive.
- If the account has no linked email but does have a phone number, select the Phone tab, request a code, enter the six-digit verification code, and set a new password.
- Choose a password you have not used for another account or previously used on Roblox.
Roblox’s password reset page can only use contact information already attached to the account. If neither an email nor phone number is linked, self-service reset will not work.
Contact Roblox Support if self-service recovery fails
Use Roblox Customer Support and describe the login problem. Roblox requires owners to verify account ownership before it resets an account or changes account information. If you can, provide the first email address added to the account or the billing email used for its first payment. Roblox says these details can help with verification, but they do not guarantee account recovery.
What to do if your Roblox account was hacked
- Remove suspicious downloads and browser extensions obtained outside Roblox.
- Run a full virus scan, restart the device, and run another scan.
- Reset the Roblox password using the official recovery flow.
- Turn on 2-Step Verification (2SV) after regaining access.
- If you cannot reset the password, contact Roblox Support and provide ownership information if available.
Roblox says help with lost virtual items or currency is very limited and restoration is not guaranteed. An owner seeking that assistance should contact Roblox within 30 days of the compromise; this is not a promise that items will be restored.

Protect your Roblox login and recovery methods
- Use a unique password for Roblox. Roblox says a verified email is required to enable 2SV.
- Never share your password, browser cookies, 2SV codes, backup codes, personal details, or sensitive computer information. Roblox employees will not ask you for these.
- Enter login details only on roblox.com or in an official Roblox app. Roblox Support warns that account theft can follow shared login information, online surveys, free-Robux offers, fake sites, unfamiliar links, or untrusted extensions.
- Keep backup methods available so you can still prove ownership if you lose access to a device or security method.
Roblox supports 2SV through authenticator apps, email, and security keys. For phishing-resistant protection, its Enhanced Protection uses passkeys or physical security keys for challenges. Enhanced Protection requires a verified email and either a verified phone number or saved backup codes, and device support varies. A passkey or key is a prevention method, not an account-recovery shortcut; if a passkey is lost, Roblox requires a multi-step ownership recovery process, and you may be unable to recover access if you cannot complete it. See Roblox Support’s guidance on 2-Step Verification and Enhanced Protection.
