Forza Horizon 5 does not have an officially supported mod-installation process in the sources reviewed. Forza forum guidance says game modding is not allowed and can result in a permanent ban, so installing third-party mods carries enforcement risk. If you want a feature changed or need to report a bug, use Forza’s official feedback portal instead.
Is modding allowed in Forza Horizon 5?
Forza’s official forum response to a question about a PC ray-tracing mod states: “Modding the Game is not allowed and can result in a permanent ban.” The answer was posted in 2021, so it is useful official guidance, but it is not the full current enforcement policy. The support page linked from that answer was inaccessible when checked.
Turn 10’s April 17, 2023 Code of Conduct update says it applies to Forza Horizon 5. It explains that enforcement depends on the type and severity of a violation and on prior offenses. The article describes a warning for first-time non-extreme violations; it does not mean every modification receives the same penalty or that a warning is guaranteed in every case.
Why there are no installation steps here
The reviewed official material does not identify an approved mod loader, authorized mod repository, or supported workflow for changing game files. It also does not establish whether a particular graphics tweak, overlay, or other file change is treated differently under current policy. Naming a third-party utility or walking through its installation would therefore risk presenting an unverified method as safe or sanctioned.

If your goal is to change the game, use its supported features rather than modifying its files. The official sources reviewed do not provide a detailed inventory of those built-in options.
How to submit a bug report or gameplay suggestion
Forza’s official feedback portal lets players submit and vote on reports and suggestions. Its categories include gameplay bugs, car bugs, gameplay suggestions, car model suggestions, branded car upgrade suggestions, and partnerships and merchandise suggestions. This is a way to request a change or report a problem—not a method for installing mods.
