You can’t create a stick with Knockback 255 using Minecraft Bedrock’s documented vanilla commands. The Bedrock /enchant command supports Knockback I or II, not 255. A command-block contraption may imitate a powerful knockback effect by moving entities, but it does not enchant the stick.
Why the usual command cannot give you Knockback 255
Bedrock’s official /enchant command reference gives this syntax:
/enchant <player: target> <enchantmentName: Enchant> [level: int]
The command applies an enchantment to the selected item held by the target player, and it requires cheats. For Knockback, the documented levels are 1 and 2. Entering 255 is therefore not a supported way to obtain the requested item.
How to enchant a stick with supported Knockback
If your goal is a stick with a legitimate Bedrock Knockback enchantment, use an available enchantment route. Minecraft’s enchantment guide lists the enchanting table, librarian villagers, anvil, and /enchant command as ways to acquire enchantments.

Use the command
- Enable cheats in the world. This changes the world’s cheat setting; command use is not available without cheats.
- Hold the stick you want to enchant so it is your selected item.
- Enter
/enchant @s knockback 2in chat. The command targets you and requests the documented maximum Knockback level.
If the command rejects the item, Bedrock does not accept that item-enchantment combination through /enchant. The command reference does not document a way to override the Knockback level limit.
What about command-block workarounds?
A third-party video published on June 29, 2025, describes a command-block setup that detects a held stick and teleports nearby entities. That can imitate an exaggerated push, but teleporting entities is different from applying the stick’s normal melee Knockback enchantment. The setup is an unverified community example, not an official or universally compatible method: the video’s reported Bedrock workaround.

A Minecraft Feedback post asking for high-level enchantment command behavior is a feature request, not evidence that Bedrock supports Knockback 255: Minecraft Feedback request.

High-level enchantment examples found for Java Edition use Java-specific item data or components. They should not be copied as Bedrock instructions: the Bedrock command reference documents the supported /enchant levels and does not provide an equivalent documented command for Knockback 255.
