You may be able to see someone’s current Roblox experience without being their friend, but only if their privacy settings let you see it. Seeing what they’re playing does not automatically mean you can join: that also depends on their follow settings and your permission to enter the experience.
When can you see someone’s current Roblox experience?
Friend status alone does not determine whether you can see what a player is doing. The player controls the audience for their current experience in Roblox’s visibility settings. If their chosen audience includes you, their current experience may be visible; if it does not, Roblox says you will not see it. Available audience choices can vary by the player’s age and region.
How to check whether they allow others to join
If the player is currently in an experience and allows others to follow them, Roblox may show a Join Experience option on their profile or in search results. Roblox describes this option in its guide to following or joining another player in experiences. You also need permission to enter that experience. If the option is not shown, there is no supported way to force it to appear.
Visibility and online status are separate settings
Roblox has separate controls for who can see that an account is online and who can see its current experience. A player might allow others to see one without allowing them to see the other. Roblox notes that restricting one visibility setting can affect related settings, so the result may depend on the account’s configuration.

Where the player can change the setting
The account owner can review the current-experience audience at Settings → Privacy & content restrictions → Visibility & private servers → Visibility → Show current experience. The audience options shown may differ based on age and region. Only the account owner can change their own visibility settings.
Can a tracker or product reveal a hidden experience?
No legitimate product or third-party tracker can provide a supported way to reveal activity hidden by Roblox privacy settings. Use Roblox’s own profile and visibility features; do not share account credentials with services claiming they can bypass those controls.
