Sony’s US support page describes PlayStation Plus on PC as an app-based streaming service. Its listed requirements are service prerequisites, not a guarantee that a particular game is in the catalog or that it will perform well on a given connection. What Sony’s US support page lists
- An adult PlayStation account, broadband connection, compatible controller, and the PlayStation Plus PC app.
- A minimum broadband speed of 5 Mbps.
- Minimum PC specifications printed on that page: Windows 8.1 or 10, Intel Core i3 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 300 MB available storage, a sound card, and a USB port. These are the specifications stated on the US support page, not a current guarantee of app support or a performance benchmark.
- DUALSHOCK 4 is named as a compatible controller. Sony’s support page says game add-ons and DLC cannot be used while streaming a PlayStation Plus game.
Setup, once the title and plan are confirmed
- Search the PlayStation Plus catalog for God of War III while signed in to the account and market you plan to use. Confirm that the listing supports streaming on PC and identify the required plan.
- Check the current regional PC support page for compatible operating systems, hardware, and controller details.
- Install Sony’s PlayStation Plus PC app, sign in with an adult PlayStation account, and connect a compatible controller.
- Select the available game in the app to stream it. If it is not listed for your market or plan, this route is not available to you at that time.
Consider RPCS3 only after checking game-specific compatibility
RPCS3 emulates PS3 software; it does not provide God of War III. The project’s FAQ explains that commercial-game compatibility varies and directs users to the compatibility list. A search result surfaced a game entry, but the available information did not establish its current detailed status, reliable completion, recommended settings, or frame rate. Treat those as unknown until you inspect the live entry and its current notes.
Before you install or choose hardware
- Read the current RPCS3 quickstart and general system requirements at RPCS3 Quickstart; generic emulator requirements are not a performance recommendation for this game.
- Check the live compatibility list for God of War III and any game-specific notes. Do not assume that a more powerful PC fixes an emulator compatibility issue.
