What did the leak show?
The leak framing points to an informal Reddit discussion, but the available record does not establish the report’s date, full contents, or primary provenance. It does not provide a verified inventory of the footage or skins attributed to the leak. That means there is no sound basis here for naming a specific leaked skin or claiming that leaked footage precisely matched the released game.
Official Naughty Dog and PlayStation materials confirm what shipped in Remastered; they do not authenticate the leak itself. Treat any leak-specific detail as an unverified claim unless it can be tied to the original report.
What gameplay features were officially confirmed?
PlayStation lists No Return, Lost Levels, visual enhancements, and DualSense integration among the PS5 Remastered features: PlayStation’s Remastered page. Naughty Dog’s announcement also describes Guitar Free Play, technical enhancements, and the new modes: Naughty Dog’s announcement.

No Return
No Return is a roguelike survival mode included in the Remastered feature set. It is an official gameplay addition, not evidence that any particular leak previewed it.
Lost Levels
The Lost Levels are early-development versions of three sequences: Sewers, Jackson Party, and Boar Hunt. They are not complete new campaign chapters. Naughty Dog describes the levels and other additions in its feature announcement.

Guitar Free Play and technical features
Guitar Free Play is another announced addition. The PS5 edition also includes visual enhancements and DualSense integration, as described by PlayStation and Naughty Dog.
Which skins were officially confirmed, and when?
Cosmetics were added or documented across later releases and updates. The date and patch context matter: a skin confirmed after launch cannot, on that fact alone, be attributed to an earlier leak.

How did Remastered’s release timeline affect availability?
Naughty Dog announced the PS5 edition with a January 19, 2024 release date. In March 2025, it announced the PC version and said that version would include the features of the PS5 Remastered edition, alongside No Return content planned for update 2.0.0: PC announcement. Subsequent update materials documented more cosmetics and the Chronological Experience. Check the relevant platform and update context when identifying a specific feature or skin; availability is not necessarily identical across every release stage.
