A technical report on the final retail copy, published the same day by Nintendo Everything while summarizing Digital Foundry’s findings, also described a smooth 60 fps with very small dips in certain areas. The cited 2017 coverage reports 60 fps in both modes. The visual presentation does differ: the technical report described dynamic resolution while docked, with values ranging from 1600×900 to 1280×720, and different rendering behavior in portable mode. Those are 2017 reported findings, not new measurements. Resolution and rendering differences should not be mistaken for a different reported frame rate.

Does Super Mario Odyssey run faster on Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo’s current product listing marks the game as supported on Switch 2 and says its behavior is consistent with Nintendo Switch. The listing describes a free Switch 2 update for improved image quality and HDR, but does not state that the update raises the frame rate.
