It depends on whether you want the current Chilled Current appearance and can use the pass before it expires. For US players, Elite is $9.99 and Premium is $19.99. Premium’s clearest added value is an instant 10-level boost and six more Equipment Bag slots than Elite—not a gameplay advantage you need to compete.
What does the Where Winds Meet Battle Pass include?
The current Chilled Current Battle Pass set is listed as available until October 15, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. UTC+8 (October 14 at 8:59 p.m. UTC). That deadline is close, so the pass is a time-sensitive purchase. The official Where Winds Meet news listing identifies the set and its availability period.
The US Xbox Store lists two paid tiers. The listed prices and benefits below are from NetEaseGames_Global’s Xbox listings, accessed October 8, 2026; prices may differ by region or platform, so verify the amount shown at checkout.
| Tier | US Xbox price | Listed benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Elite | $9.99 | Exclusive appearance reward; +2 carried Medicine; +12 Equipment Bag capacity; -10 required Aspiration value for all equipment during the pass period. |
| Premium | $19.99 | Elite benefits, an exclusive appearance reward, an instant 10-level boost, +2 carried Medicine, +18 Equipment Bag capacity, and -10 required Aspiration values for all equipment during the pass period. |
These are the benefits stated in the Premium and Elite US Xbox listings. The official listings captured here do not provide the full reward track or a completion calculator.

Which tier should you choose?
Skip the pass
Skip it if the current appearance does not appeal to you, you do not expect to play before the deadline, or seasonal rewards are not worth paying for. Where Winds Meet is free-to-play; the pass is optional. PlayStation’s official game FAQ says optional paid content, including the Battle Pass, does not affect a player’s abilities or skills.
Choose Elite if the appearance is the main draw
Elite is the lower-cost paid option in the US Xbox listing. Consider it if you want the current appearance and its listed convenience benefits, but do not need Premium’s level boost or additional bag capacity.

Choose Premium only for the extras you will use
Premium costs $10 more than Elite at the listed US Xbox prices. Its stated differences include an instant 10-level boost and six additional Equipment Bag slots compared with Elite. That extra spend makes sense only if those benefits matter to you; the listing does not establish that they are worth $10 for every player.
