“Kamala Harris Is Campaigning in Fortnite” refers to Freedom Town, USA, a Fortnite Creative island promoted by the Harris-Walz campaign during the final stretch of the 2024 election. Its island code was 7331-5536-6547. Fortnite.GG currently lists it as disabled and not playable.
What was Freedom Town, USA?
Freedom Town, USA was a campaign-promoted Fortnite Creative island built around a city and campaign themes. The Fortnite.GG listing names clickcreates as its creator; the available information does not establish that Epic Games created or endorsed it.
The creator description on the listing says: “Team up with friends and help Kamala Harris build a brighter future for our city.” It invites players to help build a city, gather resources, complete challenges, and engage with clean-energy themes and landmarks.
What could players do in the map?
Rather than centering on Fortnite’s usual combat, the island offered activities including racing and parkour, with campaign signs and decorations, according to Engadget’s October 29, 2024 report. The available descriptions frame it as a themed Creative experience, not an official campaign event inside Fortnite’s standard battle royale mode.
