What’s in Ace Attorney Investigations Collection?
The collection contains both games in the Miles Edgeworth-led spin-off series. Rather than focusing on courtroom trials, they put the prosecutor at the center of investigations: you explore crime scenes, collect clues, speak with persons of interest, and connect evidence through logic and deduction. Capcom described Prosecutor’s Gambit as making its Western debut in this release. Capcom’s collection page and Nintendo’s US listing describe the games and their features.
How the collection updates the games
Choose HD character art or classic pixels
Both games offer updated HD presentation with redesigned chibi character art, and players can switch to the classic pixel-art look. This lets players choose between a refreshed presentation and artwork closer to the originals.
Replay chapters or get help with the cases
Chapter Select supports replaying chapters. Autoplay advances dialogue, while Story Mode can solve puzzles for the player; Nintendo says Story Mode can be switched on or off at any time. These are optional aids, so players can use them to keep the story moving or leave the deductions to themselves.

The gallery collects in-game illustrations, character animations, design sketches, and music, including orchestral arrangements. The US Nintendo listing gives the game an ESRB rating of T and lists Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, and Mild Violence as content descriptors.
Which platforms support the collection?
The collection released on September 6, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam. Steam’s own store page displays September 5, 2024 as its release date; use that date when referring specifically to Steam, rather than treating it as the general release date. Capcom’s page gives the broad platform list.

Capcom says the basic game contents are the same across versions, though hardware and controllers account for some differences. Its support FAQ, last updated July 20, 2026, states: “No, all regional versions of this game have the same game contents.” That refers to game content, not whether each store offers the same language settings, price, rating, or availability. Capcom’s platform figures and feature notes are in its collection information and support FAQ. The PlayStation Store says the PS4 version can be played on PS5, but some PS4 features may be absent; it is not listed as a native PS5 edition. PlayStation Store listing.

What languages are available?
Capcom lists seven text/display languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. It lists six voice languages: Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, and Chinese. The support FAQ does not specify separate Traditional and Simplified Chinese voice options, so those should not be assumed. Language availability may vary by storefront; check the listing for the platform and region you plan to use. Capcom’s collection page and support FAQ provide the language lists.

The official Nintendo US listing consulted identifies the Switch edition as digital, and the Capcom Town Store result is a Steam key that must be redeemed through Steam. Those listings establish digital options, not the existence or availability of a cartridge. They also do not settle whether a physical edition is sold in another region.
