How to get the missable book, The Magical Future
During the Brilehaven story section, find Julian and speak to him to obtain The Magical Future. The GameFAQs guide lists the window as 07/23–08/13; GameWith describes the book as time-limited but gives August 12 as the deadline. Because the guides differ by one in-game date, do not wait for the final day: speak to Julian as early as you can during your Brilehaven visit.

Gamer Guides also identifies the book as limited to the Brilehaven part of the story. The cited guides do not establish a way to recover it after leaving that section, so treat it as permanently missable for that playthrough. Missing it chiefly affects completion of the book collection and related trophy or achievement goals.
Where and how to read books
Read books while traveling aboard the gauntlet runner. This makes reading one of the activities to plan around the game’s travel and time-management system; Atlus describes that premise as, “Choose your actions wisely, time management is key to achieving your goal.” Atlus official game page.
Each of the seven books takes three readings to complete. Some include choices that affect the Royal Virtue points you receive; others simply raise the virtue specified in the checklist. For books with choices, select the response that best matches the virtue you want to develop. The exact choice-by-choice rewards are not established in the cited guides, so this guide does not assign point values or name an optimal response.

GameWith says reading each of the seven books three times earns the “Bookworm” trophy. Trophy names can differ between platform versions or localizations, so check the achievement wording shown by your game. To work toward the collection completion, keep track of both the automatic unlocks and your Julian visit, then use gauntlet-runner travel to finish each book’s three readings.
