When MCC 16 took place
MCC 16 was held on August 28, 2021. The reproduced announcement posts advertised an 8 p.m. BST start; that is the time zone stated in those posts. Teams were announced on August 12 and 13, around two weeks before the event.
How the championship worked
The official MC Championship event page describes the general format as ten teams of four competing in mini-games built around Minecraft skills such as parkour, survival, combat, and teamwork. The two highest-scoring teams advance to Dodgebolt, a best-of-five final. This is the tournament’s general format, not a claim about the exact MCC 16 game rotation.
