1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThree clips described in an Insider Gaming report published May 20, 2025, offered an early look at Battlefield 6’s destruction: a tank damaging structures, artillery breaking a wall used as cover, and a much less clear view of rural terrain. They were pre-release leaks, not verified footage of the final game. Battlefield 6 later launched on October 10, 2025, so the clips are best understood as a glimpse of development rather than a guide to what players experience now.
What the three leaked clips reportedly showed
Insider Gaming attributed the clips to posts by the X account goodboy (@alisaad40002). The report described what was visible, but the footage’s origin was not independently authenticated in the material available here.
| Clip | What the report described | What it can establish |
|---|---|---|
| Tank | A tank damaging buildings and other environmental elements, using its mounted weapons and by driving into objects. | A reported example of vehicle-driven destruction in pre-release footage. |
| Infantry fight | Players fighting on foot and using a building for cover before artillery brought down a wall. | A reported example of destruction changing available cover during a fight. |
| Rural terrain | Pixelated footage that appeared to show rural and rocky ground, damaged buildings, hills, and distant snowcapped mountains. | The terrain and landmarks are uncertain because the clip was highly pixelated; the report did not establish a map identity. |
The first two clips are the clearest reported demonstrations of destruction and cover. The third adds a possible glimpse of a setting, but its poor image quality makes confident identification inappropriate. Insider Gaming’s May 20, 2025 report contains the original descriptions.
How the leaks fit EA’s stated destruction design
In an April 22, 2025 Battlefield Labs article, EA described destruction as a system meant to communicate what players can alter and to affect tactical choices. The company said damage could build through explosions and smaller impacts, including bullets; surfaces could visibly degrade; buildings could collapse; and the resulting rubble could remain as cover. That design context helps explain why a wall falling during combat matters beyond spectacle: it can change which positions are protected and which routes are exposed.

EA summarized its approach this way: “We’re designing destruction around easily identifiable visual and audio language that lets you understand what can be destroyed, altered, or transformed through gameplay.” The example shown in that article was explicitly early pre-alpha. It documents development intent, not a guarantee that every detail in the leaks—or in the demonstration—appeared unchanged in the released game. EA’s Battlefield Labs: Destruction article provides the official context.
What the clips do—and do not—tell players now
Battlefield 6 released on October 10, 2025. EA lists the game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the EA app, and the Epic Games Store, with digital and retail availability. The release includes a single-player campaign, multiplayer modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush, and Battlefield Portal, according to EA’s Battlefield 6 FAQ.

The clips predate launch by several months. They cannot, on their own, confirm the final behavior of destruction, identify the map in the pixelated scene, or explain current balance. EA’s October 1, 2026 update discusses ongoing live-game changes and describes the title as turning one year old that October, underscoring that features and balance can evolve after release. For current details, consult EA’s Season 5 and Beyond update and other official live-game materials rather than treating old leaked footage as a current feature list.

EA reported that Battlefield 6 sold over 7 million copies in its first three days, with over 172 million online matches played and over 15 million hours watched on streaming services during the three-day launch weekend. These are figures reported by EA in its October 24, 2025 announcement, not independent verification of the leaked clips or their content. EA’s launch announcement gives the company’s figures.
