When did Title Update 1 release, and what did it cost?
Capcom announced the first free Title Update for April 4, 2025. It updated Monster Hunter Wilds; players did not need to buy a separate Title Update release. Capcom lists the base game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. See Capcom’s game page.

At the time of the announcement, Capcom reported that the game had surpassed 10 million worldwide units sold. That is Capcom’s company-reported figure in its March 31, 2025 release, not an independent sales estimate. Capcom’s sales announcement.
What is the Grand Hub, and how do you unlock it?
The Grand Hub is a gathering place where hunters can communicate and take part in activities. Capcom USA’s community manager described it as a “new social space for hunters to interact with one another, communicate, and participate in fun activities unique to this new locale.” The hub’s signature activity included Barrel Bowling, which used vouchers obtainable through several means, including login bonuses, and could award useful items and pendants.

- Players can also now ride atop the Seikret, an agile new mount enabling hunters to traverse difficult terrain, perform actions like sharpening weapons on the move, and switch between two weapons while out on hunts!
- Evolved Hunting Action – The series’ acclaimed action-packed gameplay is back and more exciting than ever! Hunters can look forward to tracking down monsters with an array of new moves, special abilities, equipment, and more. The action also now flows seamlessly from cutscenes to gameplay, resulting in a new level of immersion.

Which new hunts and equipment were added?
Mizutsune
The returning Leviathan Mizutsune attacks with debilitating bubbles. Hunters at HR21 or higher could start its hunt by speaking with Kanya at the Scarlet Forest Base Camp. The update also introduced an eight-star Tempered Mizutsune and new craftable hunter and Palico armor sets.

Repeatable High Rank Zoh Shia
Hunters at HR50 or higher gained access to a repeatable High Rank Zoh Shia mission. Zoh Shia could also appear during Wyvern’s Wakening in the Ruins of Wyveria. Its materials could be used to craft new High Rank hunter and Palico equipment.
What arena and challenge quests were included?
Title Update 1 brought back Arena Quests and added Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests. Their group-size and equipment rules differ:

Which time-limited events were announced?
Arch-tempered Rey Dau
The Event Quest for Arch-tempered Rey Dau was scheduled to begin April 30, 2025, for hunters at HR50 or higher. Its announced forgeable rewards included Rey Dau γ and Felyne Rey Dau γ gear.
Festival of Accord: Blossomdance
The seasonal event was announced for April 23 through May 7, 2025. During that window, the hub’s decor and food changed, and players could obtain limited equipment, gestures, and pop-up camp decorations. Those dates have passed; the announcement does not establish that the event or its rewards are currently available.

What cosmetic DLC did Capcom announce?
The preview said a free Alma outfit and classic-series gestures would be available as DLC. It also announced Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 as paid content for Cosmetic DLC Pass owners, including owners of the Premium Deluxe Edition.
