To customize your Seikret in Monster Hunter Wilds, enter a Base Camp tent, open Appearance Menu > Seikret Customization, and choose an available option. At first, you can change its decoration, pendant, and name. Expanded appearance controls unlock later in the story, after you defeat Alpha Doshaguma and save Kunafa, Windsong Village.
Where to open Seikret customization
- Enter a tent at any Base Camp.
- Open Appearance Menu, then select Seikret Customization.
- Choose one of the options currently available to you.
This is also the tent menu used to apply Seikret decorations, according to the CAPCOM-published Xbox Store listing. The menu route is described by GameSpot’s February 28, 2025 guide.

When full customization unlocks
The early tent menu offers a limited set of changes: decoration, pendant, and Seikret name. PC Gamer’s February 27, 2025 guide places the expanded customization unlock after you defeat Alpha Doshaguma and save Kunafa, Windsong Village.
Once that story point is reached, speak to Nona in Kunafa to customize the Seikret fully. You can also continue using the tent menu. Nona may be unavailable at night, so the tent is the more reliable option when you want to make a change at any time.

The action also now flows seamlessly from cutscenes to gameplay, resulting in a new level of immersion.
What you can change
The expanded options reported by the guides include the Seikret’s name and several appearance controls. Depending on the option, you can adjust:
- Skin and feather colors
- Pattern, including its thickness, color, and transparency
- Eye color and the right eye
- Decoration and pendant type
- The Seikret’s name
These detailed color, pattern, and eye controls are part of expanded customization; they are not all available in the initial tent menu.

How to get decorations and pendants
Cosmetics come from more than one source. The guides report pendants earned through story progress and additional decorations from Kunafa side missions after reaching High Rank. They also describe decoration sets included with a deluxe edition and store cosmetics. These guide-reported examples are not a complete or necessarily current catalog; check the relevant platform and region’s listing for current availability before purchasing a specific item.
For example, the Singapore Xbox Store listing for CAPCOM’s Cosmetic DLC Pack 3, released September 29, 2025 and accessed October 8, 2026, includes the Cute Critter Caparison. Its description says: “This item changes the appearance of your Seikret. It does not effect stats or abilities.” That statement applies to the listed item.

Do you need to pay to customize your Seikret?
No cited guide says paid content is required for basic Seikret customization. Optional paid decorations and edition-specific cosmetics are separate from opening the customization menu and using its basic options.
