What kind of game is The First Descendant?
Beomjun Lee, credited as producer of The First Descendant at Nexon Games, described it in the June 26, 2024 PlayStation Blog feature as “a third-person online co-op looter shooter.” Its launch-era progression pitch centered on collecting and enhancing Descendants (playable characters), firearms, external components and modules, then combining them into builds.
