In My Fishing Brainrots, rebirth is a progression reset that guides say can trade some current progress for lasting benefits. Before you commit, check the live Rebirth panel: third-party guides disagree about which Brainrots and upgrades are lost, and their requirement lists may not match your current game.
What rebirth does in My Fishing Brainrots
My Fishing Brainrots is a Roblox experience by Fish In The Waters. Its official Roblox listing describes a loop of hatching Brainrots, having them fish, selling fish for money, and upgrading. Rebirth is a further progression mechanic: guides describe it as resetting at least some current progress in exchange for lasting benefits, such as cash multipliers or access to progression features. The exact effects should be checked in your game before you proceed.
What do I need for the next rebirth?
Guides describe rebirth requirements as a cash amount plus a specified Brainrot, but the live Rebirth panel is the best source for your current level. The requirement tables available online are third-party accounts, not an authoritative or guaranteed-current list.
For context, TechWiser’s guide, updated March 7, 2026, lists the first rebirth as $100,000 and Salamino Penguino (Rare), the second as $1 million and Orangutini Ananasini (Epic), and the third as $10 million and Chef Crabracadabra (Legendary). A separate guide gives a different name for the second Brainrot and does not provide equally specific later requirements. Treat those entries as reported examples, not a promise that your game will show the same thresholds.

- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
Open the in-game Rebirth panel and compare its cash and Brainrot requirements with what you currently have. If the panel differs from an online guide, follow the live game.
What do you lose or keep when you rebirth?
Published guides conflict on this point. The guide at myfishingbrainrots.com says rebirth resets cash, Brainrots, current upgrades, and floor progress, while preserving Fish Index progress, permanent multipliers, unlocked floors, and global equipment upgrades. TechWiser’s March 2026 guide instead says players lose cash but keep Brainrots, fishing spots, caught fish, and unlocked features.

Strategy guides suggest considering rebirth when progress slows, but they do not establish one best time for every player. The decision depends on the benefits and losses shown in your own game and whether you are close to a useful milestone.
