Pause here if you want to solve the board yourself. In this puzzle, the sport-specific clues help distinguish basketball violations from roller derby terms; the Jeter clue points to nicknames, while the last group completes the word “Ball.”

How Connections: Sports Edition works
The game presents 16 words and asks players to sort them into four groups of four based on a shared sports-related thread. Groups are color-coded from yellow through green and blue to purple. You can shuffle or rearrange the board while looking for connections; a wrong guess counts as a mistake, and the source says the game allows up to four mistakes before it ends.
