Hints for September 10, 2025
The game’s instruction, as reproduced by Parade, is to “group sports terms that share a common thread.” For this puzzle, look for four sets of sports-related words:
- Yellow: Cities representing clubs in one National League division.
- Green: Different words for a forceful basketball finish at the rim.
- Blue: Names of Nike footwear models.
- Purple: Actors known for playing football coaches on screen.

Why the groups fit
Yellow: NL EAST TEAMS
ATLANTA, MIAMI, NEW YORK, and PHILADELPHIA stand for the cities of the National League East teams. The puzzle uses city names rather than full club names.
