The game asks players to “group sports terms that share a common thread.” Each group has four words. These clues reveal the themes without giving away the complete sets:
- Cold-weather gear or ways to get around on snow.
- Words for turning things around after a setback.
- Baseball actions expressed in the past tense.
- First names belonging to managers in England’s Premier League.

How to solve the groupings
Start with the most concrete category
SKI, SLED, SNOWBOARD and TUBE all point to snow activities. Once those four fit together, set them aside and look for another cluster rather than trying to force every remaining word into the same theme.

Look for a shared meaning, not just a shared sport
COMEBACK, RALLY, REBOUND and RECOVERY can all describe bouncing back. Their connection is a common idea, rather than one specific sport or piece of equipment.
Notice the verb forms
CAUGHT, DOVE, SLID and THREW are past-tense action words that can describe baseball plays. The category depends on both the action-word pattern and its baseball context.

Keep specialist knowledge in mind
ANGE, ENZO, NUNO and PEP are first names associated with Premier League managers. This set may be less obvious if you do not follow English football, so consider whether remaining words are names before ruling out the category.

- Use a clear category anchor to generate candidates, but check that all four words genuinely fit before committing.
- Consider a word’s second meaning or context; sports terms can also belong to broader ideas, names or everyday expressions.
