Nintendo’s 2025 schedule confirms a slate of Switch 2 games, from launch-day releases to titles assigned only a season or year. This is Nintendo’s published lineup, not a complete calendar of every publisher’s Switch 2 games. The listed dates are Nintendo schedule dates; Nintendo says dates may vary by region and that “Launch dates and titles etc. are subject to change.”
Nintendo Switch 2 games on Nintendo’s 2025 schedule
Nintendo’s primary-product schedule, published May 8, 2025, lists the following titles. The schedule gives different levels of timing detail: an exact date for some games, but only a season or year for others. Pokémon Legends: Z-A received a later date update.

Nintendo’s May 8, 2025 primary-product schedule is the basis for the lineup and original timing; Nintendo’s later Pokémon announcement supplies the October 16 date. Nintendo’s April 2, 2025 announcement set the system’s launch for June 5 and identified Mario Kart World as a launch-day exclusive.
How complete is this release list?
This is a bounded list of Nintendo-published titles shown on Nintendo’s official schedule, not an exhaustive list of every third-party game released for Switch 2 in 2025. A broader announced-games catalog is maintained by Nintendo Life, but individual third-party dates should be checked with the relevant publisher.

What prices and preorder links are confirmed?
Nintendo’s reviewed schedule does not provide a full game-by-game price list or retailer purchase links. The only title-specific price established here is Mario Kart World’s Japan-specific MSRP, announced by Nintendo in 2025: 8,980 yen for the digital version and 9,980 yen for the physical version. Those are Japanese prices, not US prices or a current offer.
Because these 2025 release dates are historical, an old announcement is not evidence that a retailer listing is currently a preorder. Check the live product page for market, currency, format, edition, price, availability, and whether it is a preorder or standard product page before buying. No current retailer stock or live price is established here.

Switch 2 Edition versus upgrade pack
Nintendo UK explains that a Switch 2 Edition bundles the original Nintendo Switch game with its Switch 2 upgrade pack. For selected games, owners of the original Switch version can instead buy the upgrade pack. The distinction matters when comparing listings: a price may be for the original game, the Switch 2 Edition bundle, or only the upgrade pack. Check the product title and what it includes before choosing.
