What Dr Disrespect claimed
On January 24, 2026, Dr Disrespect posted a desk-setup photo showing a badge that appeared to identify him as a Highguard event attendee. He wrote: “Last week we took the Lambo to LA to check out #Highguard.” The post presented a Los Angeles visit and an apparent badge, but neither establishes that he attended an event.
What Wildlight said
Chin Pua, identified as Wildlight Entertainment’s creator manager for Highguard, responded: “Hey there! I’m Chin, the Creator Manager for Highguard / Wildlight and I can confirm DDR was not invited to any Highguard event past or present, and the badge was not an official badge.” PC Gamer reported that Wildlight confirmed the statement came from Pua.
Insider Gaming also reported that attendees pointed to differences between their legitimate passes and the badge in the photo. PC Gamer reported that Beahm was not at either preview event. The clearest evidence on the invitation and badge is Pua’s direct denial; the available reporting does not establish how the pictured badge was made.

Invitation, badge, attendance, and launch stream are separate claims
- Invitation: Pua said Dr Disrespect was not invited to any Highguard event, past or present.
- Badge: Pua said the pictured badge was not official.
- Preview attendance: Reports say he was not at the preview events.
- Playing the game: Insider Gaming reported that Dr Disrespect streamed Highguard on launch day. Playing it later does not show that he attended a private preview.
What the reporting does not establish
The available reports do not establish whether the badge image was digitally altered, generated, or made by any particular method. It is accurate to call it unofficial based on Pua’s statement, but assigning a specific method would go beyond what the reporting supports.
