Outfits also do more than change Phyre’s appearance: Paradox says they can affect how Seattle inhabitants react during Blood Resonance hunting.
How to unlock outfits in Bloodlines 2
Outfits are connected to ability access rather than a separately described outfit currency or mission checklist. Lead Game Designer Gavin Hood says players can choose one clan and still gain access to abilities from another clan, making that other clan’s outfits obtainable through play. Your chosen clan’s outfits unlock earlier; Paradox says all outfits can be unlocked simply by playing. Paradox’s Fashion Matters developer diary explains the system at this level, but does not specify a particular mission, character level, or currency cost.
Do outfits affect gameplay?
Paradox says outfits can affect how Seattle’s inhabitants respond to Phyre, including during Blood Resonance hunting. The developer’s example describes clothing and behavior influencing whether someone reacts in a way that preserves the desired blood mood. This is an example of possible NPC interaction, not a stated guarantee that every outfit changes every encounter.
Paradox also says outfits are curated to express clan style, and that clothing and footwear sounds are mixed according to the clan associated with an outfit. The developer contrasts a stealth-like presence with a more aggressive one; these descriptions indicate intended mood and presentation, not a published ranking of outfits or a universal best choice.

How many outfits and customization options are there?
Paradox’s 2026 Valentine’s update reported 24 outfits and 151 existing customization items, then added 26 customization options. The 26 were listed as 7 hair options, 8 makeup looks, 4 eye colours, and 7 accessories; the update also mentions three facial-hair options and Valentine’s items. These are figures from that specific update, not a guaranteed current total: later patches or downloadable content may change the inventory. See the Valentine’s update notes for its reported figures.
For choosing among outfits, consider the clan identity and look, the developer-described potential for NPC reactions during hunting, the sound and presence associated with the outfit, and when it becomes available through progression. Paradox has not published a player-preference ranking that establishes a single best outfit.

Is there a physical edition?
Paradox’s FAQ says a physical edition was made with PLAION and is sold through select retailers. The box includes a Steam code on PC or a disc on PS5 or Xbox. A Premium physical edition is described as including character cards, a journal, and a Steelbook. Availability and box contents can vary by region, and quantities are limited. The official FAQ has the edition details. For the PS5 listing and editions, consult the PlayStation game page; its prices and promotions may change.
