PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 is a digital-only bundle. It combines the earlier Legend Edition content with the Year 2 Member’s Pass and Pro Accelerator Pack. If you want a boxed copy, 2K lists the Standard Edition as the physical option; it is a different product, not a physical version of the Year 2 Legend bundle.
What is Legend Edition Year 2?
2K announced the Year 2 Legend Edition and Pro Edition on January 14, 2026. The Year 2 Legend Edition builds on the original Legend Edition by adding the Year 2 Member’s Pass and Pro Accelerator Pack. The full bundle also includes content associated with the first year of the game’s Clubhouse Passes and several cosmetics and equipment packs.

2K described the Legend Edition Year 2 and Pro Edition as digital-only premium versions. That description is 2K’s; it is not a third-party assessment of the game’s quality. 2K’s announcement also identifies PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
What’s included in PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2?
The January 2026 announcement lists the following content in the Year 2 Legend bundle:

The named items include the Chris McDonald character and Extra Butter x adidas apparel; a Titleist GT4 Driver, Titleist ball cosmetic and FootJoy Premiere Series shoes; Malbon cosmetic balls; and a Sun Day Red apparel set with a TaylorMade Qi10 driver. These are digital game items, not physical equipment included with a boxed purchase.
Year 2 Member’s Pass
Member’s Pass Year 2 grants Premium Clubhouse Pass access for Seasons 6–8 and includes the Clubhouse Gear Pack Year 2. 2K says each Clubhouse Pass has 100 reward tiers, 34 of them free. Premium rewards require purchase and gameplay progression. The publisher also says a pass remains available to progress after a new season begins, so a season change does not by itself close out progression on an earlier pass.
Pro Accelerator Pack
The Pro Accelerator Pack contains 8,800 VC, five Level Up Tokens, six Evo Tools, twelve Fittings, and limited-edition in-game PING Iron and PUMA Footwear. 2K also offers this pack as a separate add-on for existing players, so it is not exclusive to buying the Year 2 Legend Edition.
Is Legend Edition Year 2 available physically?
No. 2K Support’s edition FAQ distinguishes the digital-only Legend Edition Year 2 from Standard Edition, which is available digitally or physically. A physical-game listing should therefore be for PGA TOUR 2K25 Standard Edition; it should not be presented as a boxed Year 2 Legend bundle. Check the product name and platform on the retailer listing before purchase.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How does it differ from Standard and Pro editions?
The clearest buying distinction is format and included content. Standard is the physical option; Pro and Year 2 Legend are digital-only according to 2K. Year 2 Legend is the bundle that specifically includes the Year 1 and Year 2 Member’s Passes, seasons 1–8, and the Pro Accelerator Pack. The announcement identifies Pro as a separate premium edition but does not provide a complete item-by-item Pro contents list in the cited details, so the exact Pro-versus-Legend comparison should be checked on the relevant storefront.

|---|---|---|
| Standard | Digital or physical | 2K Support identifies it as the physical-copy option. The cited edition FAQ does not itemize its full included content. |
| Pro | Digital only | Announced alongside Year 2 Legend; the cited announcement does not establish a full contents list for a direct comparison. |
| Legend Edition Year 2 | Digital only | Earlier Legend content, both Member’s Passes for Seasons 1–8, both Gear Packs, Pro Accelerator Pack and the named cosmetic/equipment packs. |

The announcement establishes what the bundle contains, but not how a storefront prices previously owned content for every account or region.

What about the 2026 course updates?
In its January 2026 announcement, 2K said the 2026 PGA Championship course at Aronimink Golf Club would be free to all players, with Shinnecock Hills for the 126th U.S. Open and Royal Birkdale for The 154th Open to follow during 2026. That announcement describes planned updates; it does not establish the actual rollout status of each course. Check the game or current publisher updates for what is available now.
