There is an event-label error in the report: it calls TPC Sawgrass the 2025 Open Championship venue. 2K identifies TPC Sawgrass with THE PLAYERS Championship and Royal Portrush with The 153rd Open, so those are the event pairings to use.

Courses named in the 2026 Switch 2 roadmap
In its February 2026 Switch 2 announcement, 2K said the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club would be free to play and that future Seasons would introduce Shinnecock Hills for the 126th U.S. Open and Royal Birkdale for The 154th Open through free updates. Can you play courses that are not in the licensed roster?
Yes. Players can create courses in Course Designer and view or play courses created and uploaded by other players, according to 2K Support. A community-made version of a venue is not the same as an officially licensed course, so check the course’s creator and listing rather than assuming a familiar name means an official inclusion. 2K Support FAQ

Which platforms is PGA TOUR 2K25 available on?
The game launched worldwide on February 28, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. 2K later announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version.
