How Connections works
The New York Times describes Connections as a daily word game in which players sort 16 words into four groups of four. The groups are color-coded by difficulty, with yellow the easiest and purple the trickiest. Some words may seem to fit more than one theme, which is part of the challenge. Where to play or find the archive
The NYT Help Center says Connections is available on its Games website and apps, with a new puzzle released at midnight in the player’s time zone. Its archive goes back to June 12, 2023, for All Access and Games subscribers. Access details can change; check the NYT Help Center for current terms.
