When the US bundle is actually a saving
The $549.99 Nintendo offer makes sense if Mario Kart World and the included three-month Nintendo Switch Online membership are items you would buy anyway. The $37.98 figure is Nintendo’s claimed saving versus the separate manufacturer suggested retail prices, not a guaranteed saving against every retailer’s live prices. Compare the bundle with the current separate checkout total for the same items before deciding.
The membership auto-renews after the included term unless canceled. Include that renewal in your cost comparison, and check the account’s membership settings if you do not want it to continue.

Should you wait, buy refurbished, or look for a coupon?
Waiting for a sale
A future promotion is possible, but the reviewed coverage does not establish when one will happen or how much it might save. If you can wait, follow local retailer offers and compare the checkout total when a sale appears; do not treat a future price drop as guaranteed.
Refurbished hardware
The Woot offer is evidence of a past option, not proof that the same price, grade, or warranty is currently available. Check the seller’s live listing and terms rather than assuming a refurbished console will be cheaper enough to justify a shorter or different warranty.

Coupons and retailer promotions
Nintendo Support says there are currently no discount codes for Nintendo Store purchases and that Nintendo does not offer coupons for purchases at retailers such as GameStop. That does not rule out promotions issued by individual third-party retailers. Nintendo also says refurbished physical games and hardware are often available through the Nintendo Store at lower prices.

How to compare the price at checkout
- Choose your market. Compare offers in the country where you will use the console; do not convert a foreign deal price and assume it is available to you.
- Compare the same contents. Set a standalone console against the bundle only after pricing the game and membership separately—and only count items you actually want.
- Check the complete checkout total. Confirm stock, shipping, seller, taxes or other checkout charges, and return terms on the retailer’s live page.
- For a membership bundle, account for renewal. The included Nintendo Switch Online term auto-renews unless canceled, so include the ongoing cost if you leave it active.
