Why the “unreleased” description is out of date
Nintendo’s investor relations document records the game’s release date as October 17, 2024. The game is therefore not unreleased; version 2.3.0 is a later update to an already released title. Nintendo’s May 2025 investor document says the game’s sales had grown at the fastest pace of any Mario Party series title for Nintendo Switch, but the cited passage does not give a sales total.
