Sony announced the broadcast on September 23, 2024, for the following day: September 24 at 3 p.m. Pacific / 6 p.m. Eastern. The announcement named YouTube and Twitch as the viewing platforms. It did not give the full lineup in advance. PlayStation’s announcement

PlayStation Plus announcements
Sony announced that October’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games—WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus—would become available starting October 1, 2024. It also announced The Last of Us Part I for Extra and Premium members from September 26, and later Premium additions Dino Crisis and Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. These are the 2024 announcements, not a statement of what is currently in the catalog.
PS5 Pro and accessories
The show revisited PS5 Pro, which Sony had revealed earlier that month, and identified games with enhanced features or modes. Sony said enhancement varies by game and requires a compatible display. It also announced the PS5 Chroma Collection, with three colors for DualSense controllers and PS5 console covers, plus a Fortnite Limited Edition DualSense featuring Fishstick and Peely.
