Players defeated Shiny Wo-Chien 6,078,885 times in the 2025 Tera Raid event in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The widely reported “over 3.5 million” figure was an interim tally from July 31, not the final total. The event and the later Mystery Gift claim window have both ended.
From 3.5 million to the final tally
PokéJungle reported on July 31, 2025, that players had beaten the raid more than 3.5 million times—already more than three times the one-million-win target. The Pokémon Company later reported the final total as 6,078,885 victories on its official event results page. The two figures describe different points in the event, not conflicting final counts.
When the raid ran, and how the reward worked
The five-star raid featured Shiny Wo-Chien with a Grass Tera Type. It ran from July 23, 2025, at 00:00 UTC through August 3, 2025, at 23:59 UTC, according to The Pokémon Company’s event rules.
Players could not catch the Wo-Chien they defeated in the raid. Instead, reaching at least one million collective victories during the event qualified the shiny for a later Mystery Gift distribution. The Pokémon Company describes a Tera Raid Battle as a timed fight in which players work with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon.

The distribution ran from August 8, 2025, at 00:00 UTC through September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC. That claim period has ended; the official result page does not establish a current way to obtain this specific event gift.
At the time, the official claim instructions were to launch either game, open Poké Portal, select Mystery Gift, choose Get via Internet, select the gift, and save. Those steps are historical guidance, not a presently available claim route.
