That event has ended, and the available sources do not establish a later or current Shadow Entei rotation. For historical context, the May 2 event offered up to six free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Entei in Shadow Raids. Its Remote Raid limit was 20 during the event window, from May 1 at 5 p.m. through May 2 at 8 p.m. PDT. These were event-specific bonuses, not current offers. The official announcement did not give an exact Shiny encounter probability.

Choose a team for your actual roster
A ranking is a starting point, not a guarantee. Compare your options by species and powered-up level, whether you have the listed moves, and the balance between damage and staying power. Weather, party bonuses, and your group’s ability to coordinate Purified Gems also affect how the battle plays out.

Its time-to-win and faint estimates are simulations, exclude friendship and Mega damage boosts, and may differ from field results. Its group-size tool models at least three Trainers under its setup; treat that as a site estimate, not a guaranteed minimum or a promise of a clear. Expected catch CP

How to handle Shadow Entei’s enraged phase
Three-star and five-star Shadow Raid bosses can become enraged, increasing their attack and defense. Purified Gems temporarily lower those stats. When multiple Trainers use Gems at the same time, their effects stack; using enough subdues the boss to its non-enraged state. Coordinate with your group so Gem use contributes to subduing the boss rather than relying on one Trainer to manage the phase alone. Niantic’s Shadow Raid announcement

How to get Purified Gems before the raid
- Battle Team GO Rocket Grunts, Leaders, or Giovanni to earn Shadow Shards.
- Collect four Shadow Shards, then use the Shard Refiner to make one Purified Gem.
- Check your stock before raiding: the Pokémon GO Help Center says a Trainer can hold up to 10 Gems and use up to five per Shadow Raid.
- Agree with your group on who will use Gems and when the boss becomes enraged. Their effects can stack when used together.

What happens after you win?
Defeating a Shadow Raid boss gives you a chance to catch it using Premier Balls. A Shadow Raid appears at a Gym taken over by Team GO Rocket; its egg or boss marker has a purple flame.
