Pokémon GO’s May 2024 calendar featured Bounsweet Community Day on May 19 and four GO Battle League rotation changes. Dates and times below are historical; where Niantic specified local time, they are shown in local time.

What happened on Bounsweet Community Day?
Niantic announced Sunday, May 19, 2024, as Bounsweet Community Day, running from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Bounsweet appeared more often in the wild, with a chance to encounter a Shiny one. Evolving Steenee during the event or within five hours after it ended produced a Tsareena that knew the featured Charged Attack, High Jump Kick.
Niantic listed High Jump Kick at 110 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids. The announcement’s catch and egg bonuses were:

Lure Modules and standard Incense activated during the event lasted three hours; Daily Adventure Incense was excluded. The event also offered one additional Special Trade and a 50% Stardust reduction for trades. Niantic specified that some bonuses continued until 10:00 p.m. local time; consult its Bounsweet Community Day announcement for the original bonus-by-bonus timing.
Steenee raids after the main event
From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, Steenee appeared in special four-star raids. These required a Raid Pass or Premium Battle Pass; Remote Raid Passes could not be used. Winning a raid caused more Bounsweet to appear near that Gym for 30 minutes.

Research and other event features
The announcement also listed event-themed Field Research and PokéStop Showcases. It included optional digital purchases: a US$1.00 Special Research story, a US$4.99 web-store bundle, and in-game bundles costing 1,350 and 480 PokéCoins. Those were the announced prices for the 2024 event, not current offers.
GO Battle League rotations and Battle Weekend
The May schedule changed leagues on May 3, 10, 17, and 24. The format for each range is listed in the schedule table above. GO Battle Weekend ran from May 4 at 12:00 a.m. through May 5 at 11:59 p.m. local time.

During the weekend, win rewards provided four times the Stardust, excluding end-of-set rewards. The daily set limit increased from five to 20, allowing up to 100 battles per day. These bonuses are described in Niantic’s GO Battle League: World of Wonders update.

The official announcements establish the Bounsweet Community Day details and the GO Battle League rotations and weekend bonuses above. They do not establish every May Spotlight Hour, Raid Hour, raid-boss rotation, or Showcase date. A Pokémon GO Hub May event-guide search-result extract mentions those categories but does not provide complete calendar tables, so those dates and bonuses are not included here.
