Give Milcery a Sweet to hold, spin your character in a tight circle until the spinning animation starts, then stop. Your character will pose and Milcery will evolve into Alcremie. The Sweet determines Alcremie’s decorative topping; the spin and in-game time determine its cream form.
How to evolve Milcery
- Give Milcery a Sweet to hold. It must be holding a Sweet when it evolves. Pokémon’s official Sword and Shield site confirms that Sweets are used for Milcery’s evolution.
- In the overworld, move your character in a tight circle until the character begins spinning.
- Stop moving. Your character will strike a pose, and Milcery will evolve into Alcremie. Serebii’s Sword and Shield Pokédex entry describes the spin-and-stop method.
How to get a particular Alcremie appearance
Alcremie’s appearance has two separate influences. The Sweet Milcery holds determines the decorative Sweet on Alcremie. The cream form is determined by the time of day, spin direction, and spin duration. Choosing a Sweet alone does not select a cream form.
If you want a particular cream form, consult a reliable Sword and Shield form chart for the corresponding time and spin conditions before evolving Milcery. The sources linked here establish which variables matter but do not provide the exact timing thresholds for every form.
Where to get Sweets
Sweets are in-game items used to evolve Milcery. Their availability can vary by method and event. Pokémon.com reported a limited Max Raid event on February 11, 2022, during which defeating Milcery could award any of seven Sweet types, including Star and Ribbon Sweets. That was a historical, time-limited event—not evidence that the special raids or rewards are currently available. See Pokémon’s event announcement.
