When did Pokémon TCG: Chaos Rising release?
The English expansion released May 22, 2026, as part of the Mega Evolution series. The Pokémon Company International described it as available on that date in its official announcement and UK release-day article. Read the release-day announcement.
Pokémon announced “over 120 cards,” more than 20 Trainer cards, and over 35 cards with special illustrations featuring Pokémon and Trainers. Those are the publisher’s announced counts; “over 120” is not an exact set total. The announcement highlights Mega Greninja ex, Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Floette ex and Mega Dragalge ex. Pokémon said Build & Battle Boxes were available at local game stores during prerelease events and became more widely available at the expansion’s release. The Pokémon announcement confirms the expansion’s broad size and featured Pokémon ex, but it is not a complete checklist. PokéBeach reported on May 7, 2026, that the full English set list was available and published a guide covering the list, products and store promos. Check individual names and card numbers against that guide before using them, and distinguish store promos from cards in the main set where the guide does so. The sources cited here do not establish a complete official downloadable English checklist, pull rates, or chase-card values.
