What was the main Pokémon Presents 2025 announcement?
Pokémon Legends: Z-A gets an extended look
Nintendo called the trailer the first extended look at Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The game is set in Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan aims to create a place for people and Pokémon to share space. Nintendo also highlighted a new style of battling and the return of Mega Evolution. Its February 27, 2025 recap gave the game a late-2025 release window; that was the window announced at the time, not a current release-status update. Nintendo’s Pokémon Presents recap listed the Nintendo Switch game at $59.99 when published, which should not be treated as current pricing.
