The Gong cha promotion that awarded the Porxie King mount ended in 2024. Its North American purchase window closed on August 28, and Square Enix’s announced code-redemption deadline was September 4, 2024. The official notices do not confirm a current way to obtain the mount, so the old restaurant offer cannot be used as a present-day purchase guide.
Is the Porxie King mount still available?
The North American Gong cha campaign is over. Square Enix said the promotional code did not expire, while reserving the right to set an expiration date with advance notice. That does not establish that an unused code is currently redeemable or that codes remain available. The announcement also said, “It may be possible to obtain this item via other means in the future,” but did not confirm a re-release or name another way to get it. How the North American promotion worked
These were the historical terms of the 2024 offer, not a current promotion:
- Between July 17 and August 28, 2024, buy at least three teas in one transaction at a participating Gong cha store. The Gong cha USA campaign page described the offer as any three drinks in one transaction, while supplies lasted. Gong cha USA’s campaign page has its version of the offer terms.
- The qualifying customer received a scratch card with a unique code. The collaboration drinks named in Square Enix’s announcement were Fat Cat Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Fat Chocobo Mango Frozen Tea, and Cactuar Matcha Milk Tea. Limited-edition collaboration cups were also available while supplies lasted.
- Redeem the scratch-card code on the FFXIV redemption website while signed in to a Square Enix account, then enter the resulting item code through Mog Station for the intended FFXIV service account. The announced deadline was September 4, 2024.
Account and code restrictions
- A registered FFXIV service account was required; Free Trial accounts could not use the item code.
- The mount was distributed to one character on the selected service account. Choose the intended account carefully.
- The item code was single-use. Square Enix said lost codes could not be replaced and prohibited transferring or selling the promotional code.
Because the sale and redemption dates have passed, do not make a qualifying purchase expecting it to produce a Porxie King code. The official notice does not establish a present-day authorized source for one.

Japan had different campaign terms
Japan’s 2024 offer used a separate process: customers placed orders through Gong cha mobile order totaling at least 2,000 yen between July 17 and August 28, 2024, then added Gong cha’s official LINE account. Codes were sent from the day after a qualifying purchase. These were Japan-specific historical terms, not the North American three-tea requirement. Square Enix’s Japanese campaign announcement describes that offer.
