The Potion of Angelic Reprieve restores Short Rest effects and all 1st- and 2nd-level spell slots, but only after its drinker sleeps uninterrupted for two rounds. You can buy it from Lann Tarv at Moonrise Towers or Lucretious at the Circus of the Last Days; it is a single-use potion, not a practical crafting recipe.
What does the Potion of Angelic Reprieve do?
Drinking this rare, single-use potion uses a bonus action and applies the Potion of Angelic Relief condition to the drinker. The character sleeps for two rounds. If the effect completes without interruption, the character wakes with the effects of a Short Rest and all 1st- and 2nd-level spell slots restored. If the sleeper is interrupted before the effect finishes, the listed benefits do not apply.
Where can you buy the potion?
The community wiki lists two vendors:
- Lann Tarv at Moonrise Towers in the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
- Lucretious at the Circus of the Last Days in Rivington.
Vendor inventories can vary with progression and game version, so check their stock in your own save. The item page also describes a recipe using Essence of Unicorn Horn and Salt, but Unicorn Horns are not found in the game; buying the potion from a vendor is the practical route.
Angelic Reprieve vs. Angelic Slumber
| Potion | Recovery after two rounds | Interruption |
|---|---|---|
| Potion of Angelic Reprieve | Short Rest effects and all 1st- and 2nd-level spell slots. | Interrupting the sleep before it completes prevents the listed benefits. |
| Potion of Angelic Slumber | Long Rest effects. | Its sleep is also subject to interruption. |
Reprieve is not a Long Rest: its recovery is limited to Short Rest effects and the specified lower-level spell slots.
