To get Predator Cores in Palworld, defeat Predator Pals. A guide reports that each defeated Predator Pal drops a Predator Core and a Giant Pal Soul, along with its species’ usual loot. Predator Pals are difficult enemies, and their current spawns are rare and no longer tied to fixed locations.
How to find Predator Pals
Pocketpair’s official Palworld v1.0 changelog says: “Predator Pals no longer appear at fixed locations; they now spawn at a low rate across the whole map.” This means older guides that direct you to a specific coordinate may no longer reflect the current spawn behavior. The changelog does not provide an exhaustive encounter list or exact current spawn locations.
How to recognize and fight one
A Palworld.tools guide describes Predator Pals as boss versions of regular Pals, with a reddish-pink glow and red eyes. It also reports that they have substantial health and hit harder than their ordinary forms. Pocketpair’s announcement likewise characterizes them as extremely difficult enemies, but does not prescribe a particular level, party, weapon, or build.
The same third-party guide says Predator Pals cannot be caught. Treat the encounter as a fight rather than spending Pal Spheres on an attempted capture.

What Predator Pals drop
The Palworld.tools guide reports that each defeated Predator Pal yields one Predator Core and one Giant Pal Soul, in addition to loot normally carried by that Pal’s species. This is a third-party guide’s reported drop information, not an official drop table published by Pocketpair.
