Choose a layout that fits your games and desk
Compact 60%: Royal Kludge RK61
A 60% layout keeps the board small, leaving more desk space for mouse movement. The trade-off is fewer dedicated keys than on larger boards. Check the key arrangement and how the model accesses keys you use often; do not assume that a compact board has the same dedicated controls as a larger one.
Compact with more dedicated keys: Keychron K2 Version 2
The K2 Version 2 adds a function row, navigation buttons and dedicated arrow keys while remaining compact. That can be a more convenient arrangement if you want those keys available without relying on a smaller board’s alternate key functions.

The RK61 and K2 Version 2 are described as wireless in RTINGS’ comparison. Verify that the listing is for the wireless version and configuration you intend to buy. The comparison also notes that both models come in multiple switch variants: switches can change the typing feel, so a model name alone is not enough to identify the experience you will get.

How to compare current prices without mistaking them for 2025 prices

A surfaced roundup identifies its specifications as based on 2026, which cannot establish 2025 product details or prices. For a buying decision, compare layout, connectivity, switch variant and current regional price on the exact configuration.
